(L.A.) Marisol Garcia Palacios, 34, Died in West Adams

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 34-year-old Hispanic female that occurred at her residence in West Adams.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Marisol Garcia Palacios.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Neck Compression

RIP MARISOL GARCIA PALACIOS (January 1, 1992 – May 25, 2026)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday.

The decedent’s body was found lifeless on May 25. She was killed apparently on May 24 by her boyfriend Rubén Fregoso who then took off for Mexico with their five-year-old daughter. The 40-year-old was arrested in that country in mid-June.

Funeral mass is scheduled for June 22.
