(L.A.) Andrew Arias, 30, Died in a Stairwell

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 30-year-old Latino male that occurred in a stairwell.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Andrew Arias.

STATUS: The decedent’s body is ready to be released. Ruling by the deputy medical examiner is deferred pending additional investigation.

Manner and cause of death will be added to this page when it becomes available.

If the DME has ordered drug screening, the next public update may take five to eight months.

RIP ANDREW MICHAEL ARIAS (June 24, 1995 – May 23, 2026)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday.

Note that the decedent’s name is very common. There were at least three individuals born with the same middle name in California in 1995.
