The coroner’s office has identified the man as John Daniels Jr..

Cause of Death: Dilated Cardiomyopathy

Other Significant Conditions: Coronary Artery Disease, Hypertension, Morbid Obesity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 10:39 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 22, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.
