Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 59-year-old Black male that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Lamont Williams.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

Other Significant Conditions: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease, Recent Cocaine Use

RIP LAMONT WILLIAMS (December 29, 1963 – February 17, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 11:35 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 14, presumably after the results of tox screening came back.
