(L.A.) Sucha Singh, 42, Died on Railroad Tracks

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 42-year-old that occurred on railroad tracks in Pacoima.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Sucha Singh and listed his race/ethnicity as Middle Eastern or North African [sic].

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Blunt-Force Traumatic Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday night.

The decedent’s name suggests he was was actually of South Asian / Desi descent. It’s a fairly common name and there are multiple individuals of that name in the state.

LAFD said the incident happened in the area of 13570 West Paxton Street at around 8:14 p.m.
