(L.A.) Caleb Bronkema, 25, Died in a Tow Yard

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 25-year-old White/Caucasian male whose body was found in a tow yard.

The coroner’s office identified the young man as Caleb Bronkema. Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl, Cocaine, Mitragynine, and Norbuprenorphine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, polydrug overdose.

Mitragynine is the most abundant alkaloid in the Southeast Asian plant Mitragyna speciosa, commonly known as kratom.

Norbuprenorphine is a major metabolite of buprenorphine, a medication used for opioid use disorder and pain management.
