(L.A.) Jamaih Fortin, 23, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 23-year-old male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the young man as Jamaih Fortin and listed his race/ethnicity as Latino [sic]. He was from Bristol, Connecticut.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Trauma of Head and Neck

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday.

Long Beach PD said that at around 5:00 p.m., the decedent had been riding a 2013 Triumph on Pacific Coast Highway when he lost control of the motorcycle and crashed into a parked vehicle.
