Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 46-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Celeste Dupuy-Spencer.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Ligature Hanging

RIP CELESTE DUPUY-SPENCER (1979 – April 10, 2026)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday.

The decedent was a painter who had been scheduled to open a solo exhibition at the Jeffrey Deitch gallery in Hollywood on April 17. She was of half-Jewish and half-Cajun descent.
