Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 64-year-old Black female that occurred on the northbound 405 Freeway.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Tanya Jacobs.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Acute Asthma Exacerbation

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.

California Highway Patrol heard about the incident at 3:35 p.m.

* The government investigator had initially given the decedent’s name as Tonya Jacobs Naqui.
