The coroner’s office identified the man as Daren Roland.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Multiple Blunt-Force Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday.

The decedent was transient at the time of his passing. He was hit by a vehicle in Long Beach on March 11, Wednesday evening, at around 7:30 p.m.
