(L.A.) Sina Salehi, 33, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 33-year-old who passed away at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Sina Salehi and listed his race/ethnicity as Middle Eastern or North African [sic].

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Alprazolam, Cocaine, Fentanyl, Methylenedioxymethamphetamine, Mitragynine, and 7-Hydroxymitragynine

RIP SINA SALEHI (February 9, 1993 – February 22, 2026)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, polydrug overdose.

Mitragynine is the most abundant alkaloid in the Southeast Asian plant Mitragyna speciosa, commonly known as kratom.
