(L.A.) Carlos Ramirez, 26, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 26-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Carlos Ramirez.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Complications of Relapsed B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia/Lymphoma

RIP CARLOS DANIEL RAMIREZ (August 19, 1999 – December 29, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at the medical intensive care unit of Los Angeles General Medical Center.

The decedent had been arrested by Long Beach PD on June 25. He was jailed in downtown L.A.

This is LASD’s 46th in-custody death for the year.

Note that there are multiple decedents named “Carlos Ramirez” in public records.
