Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 27-year-old male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Antonio Alexanyan and listed his race/ethnicity as White/Caucasian + Asian [sic].

Height: 5 feet 11 inches / Weight: 190 pounds

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Toxicity

Other Significant Condition: Mitragynine Use

RIP ANTONIO ALEXANYAN (January 11, 1998 – January 5, 2026)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

Mitragynine is the most abundant active alkaloid in the plant Mitragyna speciosa, commonly known as kratom.
