Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 29-year-old Black female that occurred in a parking lot.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Yolanda Barkley.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP YOLANDA BARKLEY (August 18, 1993 – January 18, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 11:20 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in late August, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
