(L.A.) Damari McCoy, 15, Died in a Parking Lot

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 15-year-old Black male that occurred in a parking lot.

The coroner’s office identified the teen as Damari McCoy.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of the Chest

RIP DAMARI MCCOY (April 8, 2010 – December 21, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.

The decedent appears to have been the attempted robber at CJs Cafe on LaBrea and Obama. He was known as Buddah.
