(L.A.) Maverick Cole, 63, Died in a Vehicle

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 63-year-old Black male that occurred in a vehicle.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Maverick Cole.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Cocaine Intoxication

Other Significant Condition: Atherosclerotic Heart Disease

RIP MAVERICK COLE (July 13, 1959 – January 17, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 7:05 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in early August, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drug. This was an accidental overdose.
