Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 26-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Matthew McCarty.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Pulmonary Emboli

Cause of Death B: Deep Venous Thromboses of Lower Extremities

Other Significant Conditions: Obesity; Sedentary Lifestyle
