(L.A.) Jesus Castro, 43, Died at a Private Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 43-year-old Latino male that occurred at a private residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Jesus Castro.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Ethanol, Cocaine and Fentanyl

Other Significant Conditions: Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in early February, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, substance overdose.

In the medical examiner’s parlance, “private residence” indicates it was not the decedent’s own home.
