The coroner’s office identified the man as Hemia Taylor. Born in L.A. County.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Pneumonia and Alcoholism

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday morning.

The government investigator gave the decedent’s place of death as “E1 Building.” This looks to be East Los Angeles College in Monterey Park, in the western San Gabriel Valley region.
