(L.A.) Valeriy Deyak, 32, Died in a Rehab Home

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 32-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at a rehab home.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Valeriy Deyak.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl, Ketamine, and Methylenedioxymethamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling in early February, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
