(L.A.) Cesar Biteranta, 71, Died on the 5 Freeway

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 71-year-old Asian male that occurred on the Santa Ana Freeway.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Cesar Biteranta.

Cause of Death: Multiple Blunt-Force Traumatic Injuries

California Highway Patrol said there was a crash involving a car and a big rig at around 12:50 p.m.

The decedent was in the sedan. He was of Filipino descent.
