Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 59-year-old Latino male that occurred in a river.
The coroner’s office identified the man as Ramon Espinoza.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Probable Drowning
Other Significant Condition: Methamphetamine Effects

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.
The decedent’s decomposing body was found floating in the Rio Hondo of the Whittier Narrow Recreation Area in South El Monte.
He remained unidentified for over a year.
