(L.A.) Giselle Aguilar, 20, Died in a Vehicle

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 20-year-old Hispanic female that occurred in a vehicle.
The coroner’s office identified the young woman as Giselle Aguilar.

Formal pronouncement of death was made early Sunday morning.
This was a wrong-way driver collision on I-5 North near SR-170 to Alameda (Burbank/North Hollywood area).
At 3:43 a.m., California Highway Patrol began receiving calls about a sedan traveling southbound in northbound lanes of I-5 near the 170 interchange, moving through Sheldon, Lankershim, Osborne, and Buena Vista exits.
Multiple calls confirmed the same direction and high speeds.
A crash finally happened in the carpool lane at 3:45 a.m. The drunk driver was killed.
Three vehicles were towed away for evidence — two sedans with major front-end damage and a truck that had overturned after slamming into the back of the faultless sedan.
In California, there are about 1,500 people killed every year in traffic accidents involving a drunk driver.
