(L.A.) Brethya Parada, 24, Died in Van Nuys

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 24-year-old Hispanic female that occurred in a vehicle.

The coroner’s office identified the young woman as Brethya Parada.

Cause of Death: Traumatic Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday.

The decedent was driving a Mercedes-Benz C300 at around 1:45 a.m. when it was hit by a Honda Civic that ran a red light at the intersection of Van Nuys and Burbank boulevards.
