The coroner’s office identified the woman as Vahine Babayan, resident of North New Hampshire Avenue in the 90029.

The decedent was known by the name Valerie Babayan. She was the owner and operator of the vegan restaurant + bakeshop “The Good Good” @thegoodgoodla. Her fatal injuries were from a four-car collision that happened at around 12:32 a.m. in the 1300 block of North Virgil Avenue on July 14. She was taken to the hospital where she passed days later.
