Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 35-year-old Black male that occurred at a private residence.
The coroner’s office identified the man as Darrell Echols.

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound to Chest

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 2:18 a.m.
LASD deputies had responded to a “shots fired” call at around 2:14 a.m. and found the decedent lifeless at a residence in the 2600 block of West 134th Street.
