(L.A.) Javier Nava, 29, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 29-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Javier Nava of Alhambra.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP JAVIER NAVA III (March 28, 1996 – August 24, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 7, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

The decedent had a rap sheet that included an arrest by Alhambra Police for drug possession in August 2024.
