Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 66-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Derek Lockamy.

Cause of Death A: Exsanguination

Cause of Death B: Right-Arm Arteriovenous Fistula Erosion

Cause of Death C: End-Stage Renal Disease

Cause of Death D: Probable Effects of Hypertension

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.

The decedent basically bled to death.

An arteriovenous fistula is a surgically created connection between an artery and a vein. It is used as vascular access for dialysis in patients with end-stage kidney disease.
