(L.A.) Adam Bumanglag, 2, Died From Fenty & Coke

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a two-year-old male.

The coroner’s office identified the child as Adam Bumanglag of Whittier.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Cocaine

RIP ADAM BUMANGLAG (July 16, 2023 – August 14, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 12, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

Note that the government investigator had initially given the decedent’s place of death as a hospital and his race/ethnicity as Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander.

The surname appears to be Filipino, and the father appears possibly of Philippine descent. The mother is a Mexican with a pierced septum.

No word yet on criminal charges filed against Paloma Ramirez.
