Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 78-year-old female that occurred in a swimming pool.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Thecla Nasr and listed her race/ethnicity as Middle Eastern or North African [sic].

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Drowning

Cause of Death B: Sudden Cardiac Dysfunction

Cause of Death C: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Effects of Ethanol
