(L.A.) Kent West, 31, Died on a Street

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 31-year-old Black male that occurred on a street.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Kent West.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Sharp-Force Injuries

RIP KENT EUGENE WEST (June 19, 1994 – July 27, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.

LAPD said the assault happened at around 5:20 a.m. in the area of 112th Street and Central Avenue.
