(L.A.) Lucas Watkins, 42, Died in a Park

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 42-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a park.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Lucas Watkins.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Multiple Drug Intoxication

Other Significant Condition: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP LUCAS WATKINS (November 11, 1982 – July 22, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 3, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, polydrug overdose.
