(L.A.) Dvanthony Williams, 22, Died Behind a Business

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 22-year-old Black male that occurred behind a business.
The coroner’s office identified the young man as Dvanthony Williams.
Manner of Death: Homicide
Cause of Death: Multiple Gunshot Wounds
RIP DVANTHONY EBONTE WILLIAMS (August 3, 2002 – July 20, 2025)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday morning.
The decedent was apparently shot to death by a store owner in the Vermont Knolls neighborhood of South Central LA.
Officers were called at 6:00 a.m. for a burglary suspect in the 8500 block of South Hoover Street, by 85th Street.
