Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 37-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Dannie Powns.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Sequelae of Status Epilepticus

Cause of Death B: Seizure Disorder
