Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 50-year-old Latino male that occurred on a street.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Nicholas Martinez Jr.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Blunt-Force Traumatic Injuries

RIP NICHOLAS MARTINEZ JR. (June 18, 1975 – July 13, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.

Baldwin Park PD said the decedent jumped from a high-elevation transition ramp at around 2:35 p.m. He was found on the ground in the 12800 block of Dalewood Street.

The transition ramp links the southbound 605 Freeway to the eastbound 10 Freeway. The connector passes above Dalewood Street.

Of the 25 deaths already made public for July 13 (Sunday), seven have been suicides.

Five males ages 13, 28, 30, 49 and 50.

Two females ages 19 and 72.
