Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 12-year-old Black female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the girl as Chloe Jackson.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Craniopharyngioma

Other Significant Condition: Obesity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday.

Craniopharyngioma is a rare type of noncancerous brain tumor.
