(L.A.) Darryl Harrison, 64, Died in Long Beach

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 64-year-old Black male that occurred on a street.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Darryl Harrison.

Cause of Death: Traumatic Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday.

The decedent was fatally injured in a high-speed crash near 7th Street and Margo Avenue, close to the Veterans Administration Hospital and California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) campus,

He was operating a Ford Mustang westbound on 7th Street at a high rate of speed when he lost control, veered off the road, and collided with a wall.

The accident happened right after midnight, at around 12:25 a.m.
