(L.A.) Matthew St Martin, 23, Died While in Detox

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 23-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at a residential detox center.

The coroner’s office identified the young man as Matthew St Martin.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Idiopathic Cardiomyopathy

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on July 8, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.
