(L.A.) Cosmo Silverman, 15, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 15-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the teen as Cosmo Silverman.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Traumatic Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday.

The decedent was fatally injured by a vehicle in the parking lot of Campbell Hall School in Studio City.

Firefighters and paramedics responded to the school in the 4500 block of Laurel Canyon Boulevard and found the student with his uninjured father. They were taken to the hospital.

Police said the boy was attempting to pass between a Rivian SUV and another vehicle when the SUV apparently lurched forward and pinned the victim.
