Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 38-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Andrew Scott.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Community-Acquired Bacterial Pneumonia

Other Significant Condition: Effects of Methamphetamine and Cardiomegaly

RIP ANDREW SCOTT (1986/1987 – June 4, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
