(L.A.) Kathrine Rodriguez, 21, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 21-year-old Hispanic female that occurred in a hospital.
The coroner’s office identified the young woman as Kathrine Rodriguez of Compton.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday.
The decedent was fatally injured in a crash involving a Metro train and another vehicle in Long Beach.
Long Beach PD responded at around 11:55 p.m Friday to the area of 12th Street and Long Beach Boulevard.
Police said the 2014 Infiniti Q50S that the victim was in was speeding southbound on Long Beach Boulevard when a 2019 Honda Accord, driven by a 29-year-old man, made a southbound turn from Anaheim Street to Long Beach Boulevard in front of the Infiniti.
The Accord swerved in an attempt to avoid a collision and ended up hitting a guardrail, while the Infiniti lost control and struck the Metro train.
* There appears to have been three people in the Infiniti– the deceased, her boyfriend and a friend. Her boyfriend would die in the hospital on May 29.
