Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 59-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Walter Smith.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Sequelae of Effects of Methamphetamine

Other Significant Conditions: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease, History of Chronic Ethanol Use
