(L.A.) Anderson Catalan Izaguirre, 24, Died in North Hills

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 24-year-old Latino male that occurred on a street.

The coroner’s office identified the young man as Anderson Catalan Izaguirre.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Chest

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.

The decedent was shot at around 4:40 a.m. in the 8700 block of Parthenia Place in the North Hills neighborhood of the San Fernando Valley region of the City of L.A.

His body is being repatriated to his mother in Guatemala.

A comment on the video page suggests it may have been a gang-related shooting. A Guatemalan media outlet stated it was a presumed robbery.
