(L.A.) Angel Barron, a Baby, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a Hispanic female that occurred in a hospital.
The coroner’s office identified the infant girl as Angel Barron.

Cause of Death: Intrauterine Fetal Demise From Maternal Methamphetamine Use

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 6:18 a.m.
Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on June 18, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
Intrauterine fetal demise is the medical term for a stillbirth. The decedent’s mother was abusing meth while pregnant.
The government investigator had initially given the decedent’s name as Angel Ruvalcaba.
