(L.A.) Jaylon Johnson, 24, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 24-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the young man as Jaylon Johnson.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Gunshot Wounds

RIP JAYLON JOHNSON (March 13, 2001 – May 6, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 1:12 a.m.

The decedent was apparently shot in the Gardena area. LASD said the shooting happened at around 12:30 a.m. in the 14700 block of Crenshaw Boulevard.
