Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 63-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Steven Fernandez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP STEVEN FERNANDEZ (June 12, 1961 – April 26, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 12:40 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on June 1.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
