(L.A.) Corey La Barrie, 25, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 25-year-old Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Corey La Barrie.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Multiple Blunt-Force Injuries

The decedent was an Australian-born YouTube star. He was a passanger in a 2020 McLaren 600LT that was being driven at a high rate of speed by allegedly drunk Ink Master tattoo artist Daniel Silva. The car crashed through a stop sign and into a tree.

Silva was arrested the day after the crash and later pleaded no contest to a felony count of gross vehicular manslaughter. In April 2025, Silva was ordered to pay $9 million to La Barrie’s parents.
