(L.A.) Loretta Ho, 55, Died in Diamond Bar

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 55-year-old Asian female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Loretta Ho.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Stab Wounds

RIP LORETTA HO (December 23, 1965 – May 21, 2021)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 10:58 p.m.

The decedent was murdered by her 32-year-old son Eric Kwan, who also killed his younger brother Edward Kwan.

In April 2025, a jury found Eric Kwan guilty of first-degree murder for his brother’s death and of voluntary manslaughter for stabbing his mother.
