(L.A.) Carlos Villegas, 28, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 28-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Carlos Villegas.

Cause of Death: Effects of Oxycodone and Alprazolam

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 7:21 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on June 3, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

Note that there are multiple decedents named “Carlos Villegas” in public records.
