(L.A.) Raphel Class Rodriguez, 51, Died From a Fentanyl OD

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 51-year-old Latino male.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Raphel Class Rodriguez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl Toxicity

RIP RAPHEL CLASS RODRIGUEZ (January 4, 1974 – March 14, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 9:22 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 22, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

The government investigator had initially given the decedent’s name as Raphael Class.
